When a Shopify order comes in with a ship-to address, the ERPPlugs connector reads Odoo inventory availability across all warehouses + your business rules (nearest warehouse, cheapest shipping, avoid warehouse X if stock < threshold) and picks the fulfilling warehouse. The Sales Order in Odoo is created against that warehouse; inventory decrements there; the Shopify order gets tagged with the fulfillment location.
Every Shopify order carries a shopper currency (from Shopify Payments or Shopify Markets). The ERPPlugs connector creates the Odoo Sales Order in the shopper currency, applies Odoo's FX rate for that day to compute the home-currency equivalent, and posts the payment in the shopper currency with the Odoo Journal handling the FX reconciliation. Multi-currency Odoo Journals must be enabled — the connector doesn't work around a single-currency setup.

Yes. A single Odoo database can serve many Shopify stores — each storefront is a separate authorisation + can map to a distinct Odoo warehouse, journal, and customer prefix. Common setup: brand A on Shopify, brand B on Shopify, both fulfilled from the same Odoo warehouse but with distinct P&L via Odoo analytic accounts.
Community modules (Bista Solutions, ODOOKA, etc.) are cheap and work for single-warehouse single-currency setups, but they require Odoo expertise to configure and break when Shopify's API changes (which happens quarterly).
