Salesforce Outlook Integration - Email & Calendar Sync
The ERPPlugs Outlook-Salesforce connector uses Microsoft Graph to sync emails, calendar events, and contacts with Salesforce. Emails can be logged against matching Contacts, Leads, and Opportunities, and Outlook meetings become Salesforce Events. Each user authorizes their own mailbox, and you choose which folders, domains, and record types are in scope.
Log Outlook emails and meetings to the right Salesforce records and keep Contacts aligned, using Microsoft Graph with per-user consent.
What this connector does
Sales teams spend much of their day in Outlook, and the conversations that matter often never reach Salesforce. This connector uses Microsoft Graph to match emails and meetings to Contacts, Leads, Accounts, and Opportunities, then logs them as Tasks and Events. It works with Microsoft 365 mailboxes, and each rep or admin controls what is shared.

What changes when you plug ERPPlugs in
See how automation transforms your Microsoft Outlook-Salesforce workflow.
| Task | Manual Integration | ERPPlugs |
|---|---|---|
| Email logging | Reps copy emails into Salesforce by hand, or skip it when busy | Matched emails are logged to the right Contact, Lead, or Opportunity |
| Meeting tracking | Meetings live only in Outlook, so Opportunity timelines look empty | Outlook meetings appear as Salesforce Events with attendees linked |
| Contact upkeep | Contacts in Outlook and Salesforce hold different phone numbers and titles | Contacts are kept aligned between the two |
| Follow-up tasks | Follow-up reminders are set separately in Outlook and Salesforce | Salesforce Tasks with due dates can appear in Outlook |
| Pipeline reviews | Managers ask reps for updates because activity history is incomplete | Activity history on records is complete enough to review pipeline from Salesforce |
Built for teams that need reliable automation
The Microsoft Outlook <-> Salesforceconnector fits into finance, ops, and revenue teams that have outgrown copy-paste — the ones whose month-end close should not depend on a spreadsheet, whose ledger accuracy should not depend on human vigilance, and whose sales velocity should not stall behind an accountant's inbox.
Below are the roles that get the fastest return the moment this connector goes live. If yours is on the list, the payback is typically visible in the first billing cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
ERPPlugs uses Microsoft Graph with delegated permissions that each user approves through Microsoft Entra ID sign-in. Your tenant admin can review and restrict the permissions requested. Users can disconnect at any time, which stops further sync for that mailbox.
Yes. ERPPlugs supports domain allow-lists and block-lists, internal-only exclusions, and rules that skip personal contacts. Only messages that match a Salesforce Contact or Lead you can access are logged. Everything else stays in Outlook.
ERPPlugs creates Salesforce Events from Outlook meetings and can write Salesforce-created Events back to the Outlook calendar. Attendees are matched to Contacts and Leads by email address. Updates and cancellations are carried across in either direction.
ERPPlugs reads recurrence patterns and time zone data from Microsoft Graph and creates matching Events in Salesforce. Changes to a single occurrence are applied to that occurrence rather than the whole series. Time zones are preserved so meetings do not shift when synced.
ERPPlugs works with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online mailboxes that are reachable through Microsoft Graph. On-premises Exchange servers that are not exposed through Graph are not covered. If you are unsure about your tenant, ERPPlugs can check during setup.
