How It Works

From Assessment to Go-Live in 90 Days

Intellyx follows a structured four-stage deployment — Connect, Deploy, Train, Go Live — that takes your factory from initial ERP integration to live dashboards and AI-powered alerts in 90 days. No production shutdown. No ERP replacement.

Intellyx deploys through a four-stage methodology: Connect (integrating existing ERP, PLCs, and data sources into a unified data layer), Deploy (installing hardware — sensors, cameras, and edge computing units — on the production floor), Train (calibrating AI models on production data and machine baselines), and Go Live (activating dashboards, automated reports, and WhatsApp alerts for all configured roles). The typical deployment timeline from site assessment to go-live is 60–90 days. No existing systems are replaced, and production does not need to stop during installation.

The 4-Stage Deployment Process

Each stage has defined deliverables and is completed before the next begins — ensuring a structured, predictable deployment.

1

Week 1–2

Connect

Integrate SAP, Tally, ERPNext, and PLCs into a unified data layer. Nothing replaced.

  • Site survey and machine inventory
  • ERP API / database access configured
  • PLC connectivity confirmed and mapped
2

Week 2–4

Deploy

Install sensors, monitoring devices, and vision QC cameras on the production line.

  • Edge servers and sensors installed on-site
  • Camera and lighting rigs mounted at inspection points
  • Network and data pipeline validated
3

Week 4–8

Train

AI models learn machine baseline, defect patterns, and production behaviour using data.

  • AI models trained on production data and defect samples
  • Machine health baselines established
  • Alert thresholds calibrated with factory team
4

Week 8–12

Go Live

Activate live dashboards, alerts, and factory intelligence tools.

  • Dashboards and reports activated for all roles
  • WhatsApp alert routing tested and confirmed
  • Operator and management training completed

What You Need to Prepare

Perimattic handles the deployment work — here is what we need from your side to keep the 90-day timeline on track.

🗄️

ERP Access

Read-only API credentials or database access for your ERP system (SAP, Tally, ERPNext, or other). This allows Intellyx to pull production orders, shift schedules, and targets automatically.

🌐

Network Infrastructure

A stable LAN or industrial Ethernet network on the production floor connecting machines to the edge server. Wi-Fi is acceptable for non-critical data; wired is required for PLC connections.

🏭

Production Line Access

Perimattic engineers need access to the production floor for 2–5 days during hardware installation. This is typically scheduled during a maintenance window or weekend shutdown.

🔍

Sample Defect Parts (for Vision QC)

If Vision QC is included, 50–100 known-defective parts per defect type are needed for AI model training. Conforming parts are also required to establish the acceptance baseline. Production samples collected over 2–4 weeks of normal operation are sufficient.

Deployment FAQs

Do we need to stop production during installation?+
No. Intellyx hardware installation — cameras, sensors, edge computing units, and energy meters — is designed to be performed without a production shutdown. Most installations are completed during scheduled maintenance windows, shift changeovers, or over a weekend. Perimattic engineers plan the installation sequence to minimise any disruption to active production. For the rare installation points that require a brief line stop (typically under 2 hours), the site survey will identify these in advance so they can be planned into your maintenance calendar.
What IT infrastructure is required?+
Intellyx runs on an on-premises edge computing architecture — the servers are installed inside your facility and your production data does not leave your network. The minimum IT requirements are: a stable LAN or industrial Ethernet network on the production floor connecting machines to the edge server, a wired or Wi-Fi connection from the edge server to your office network for dashboard access, and read-access API credentials or database access for your ERP system (SAP, Tally, ERPNext, or other). No cloud connectivity is required for core platform operation. For multi-plant deployments where a consolidated view is needed, a secure tunnel or VPN between plants is required. Perimattic provides a detailed IT requirements checklist during the pre-deployment assessment.
How is operator training handled?+
Perimattic provides structured training during the Go Live phase for all roles that interact with the Intellyx platform. Operators receive a half-day session on the production floor covering the dashboard interface, downtime reason entry, and alert response procedures. Shift supervisors receive a half-day session on shift report review, variance alert handling, and escalation acknowledgement. Quality engineers and plant managers receive a full-day session on deeper analytics, report configuration, and alert routing customisation. Training materials — quick-reference cards and video walkthroughs — are provided in English and Hindi. Post-deployment support via WhatsApp is included in the subscription.
What if deployment takes longer than 90 days?+
Perimattic guarantees that the core monitoring capability for the deployed modules will be live within 90 days from the start of deployment. In practice, "live" means data is flowing, dashboards are active, and alerts are being delivered — not that every configuration preference has been fine-tuned. Complex deployments involving a large number of machines, multi-plant scope, or custom ERP integrations may have a longer tail for full optimisation after the 90-day milestone. If external factors outside Perimattic's control — delayed site access, ERP credential issues, network infrastructure problems — extend the timeline, the 90-day clock is paused until the blocking issue is resolved. The deployment contract specifies the milestone dates and remedies.
Can we deploy across multiple plants simultaneously?+
Yes. Intellyx supports multi-plant deployments with a single unified dashboard that shows group-level, plant-level, line-level, and machine-level data in one view. Multi-plant deployments are typically staged — the first plant serves as the reference deployment that validates the configuration templates, and subsequent plants are deployed faster using the same templates. For manufacturing groups with more than three plants, a phased rollout plan is developed during the scoping phase. The subscription pricing for multi-plant deployments is structured to reflect the shared platform infrastructure, making additional plants incrementally less expensive than the initial deployment.
