Bank Statement to Excel

Convert any bank statement PDF or scanned image into a clean Excel spreadsheet. The converter produces properly formatted rows with date, description, debit, credit, and running balance columns — ready for analysis, pivot tables, or import into any accounting software.

How It Works with Excel

The most common bank statement conversion need is simply getting a clean Excel file from a PDF. This converter handles that with AI-powered extraction that understands Indian bank statement layouts. Unlike generic PDF-to-Excel tools, it recognises bank-specific column structures and produces clean, accounting-ready output with properly parsed dates, separated debit/credit amounts, and trimmed descriptions.

Step 1: Convert the Statement

The converter exports Excel (.xlsx) or CSV with these columns: Date, Description, Debit, Credit, Balance.

  1. 1

    Upload the statement

Upload your bank statement as a PDF or a scanned image.

  2. 2

    AI extraction

The document-AI engine identifies the bank format, extracts every transaction row and structures it into date, description, debit, credit and balance columns.

  3. 3

    Review and export

Check the extracted rows in the preview table, fix any edge cases, then export the Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file for your accounting software.

Step 2: Import Into Excel

  1. Download the converted Excel or CSV file from the converter preview.
  2. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets — dates are already parsed and debit and credit sit in separate numeric columns.
  3. Use filters, SUMIFS or a pivot table to total spending by payee, month or category.
  4. Import the same file into your accounting software when you are ready to reconcile.
