Bank Statement to QuickBooks

Convert your bank statement PDF into a QuickBooks-ready file. The converter produces either QBO (Web Connect) format or CSV matching QuickBooks' bank import template. Dates, descriptions, and amounts are formatted to match QuickBooks' expected input so bank feeds populate correctly.

How It Works with QuickBooks

QuickBooks Online and Desktop accept bank statement imports in QBO (Web Connect) or CSV format. The converter outputs files that match QuickBooks' expected column structure. This is particularly useful for Indian banks that QuickBooks doesn't offer direct bank feeds for — which is the majority of Indian banks. For ongoing automation, explore ERPPlugs' QuickBooks connectors.

Step 1: Convert the Statement

The converter exports QBO (Web Connect) or CSV with these columns: Date, Description, Amount.

  1. 1

    Upload the statement

Upload your bank statement as a PDF or a scanned image.

  2. 2

    AI extraction

The document-AI engine identifies the bank format, extracts every transaction row and structures it into date, description, debit, credit and balance columns.

  3. 3

    Review and export

Check the extracted rows in the preview table, fix any edge cases, then export the QBO (Web Connect) or CSV file for your accounting software.

Step 2: Import Into QuickBooks

  1. Download the converted QBO or CSV file from the converter preview.
  2. In QuickBooks, open the banking area and choose the option to upload transactions from a file.
  3. Select the file and the bank account it belongs to.
  4. For CSV files, map the date, description and amount columns, then review the imported transactions before adding or matching them.

Menu names can differ between QuickBooksversions; check your version's help if an option is labelled differently.
