Yes. Intellyx can integrate with SCADA systems as a data source using standard industrial protocols including OPC-UA, OPC-DA, Modbus TCP, and REST APIs where available. This allows Intellyx to use real-time process data from SCADA as inputs for its analytics, OEE calculations, and predictive maintenance models — without requiring any changes to the SCADA system itself. The SCADA system continues to perform its control and safety functions, and Intellyx uses the data it generates for business intelligence and AI analytics. This integration is the standard architecture for factories that already have SCADA and want to add AI capabilities and ERP-connected reporting on top.

If your new factory will involve process control — managing valves, controlling temperatures, running safety interlocks, or coordinating actuators in a continuous process — you need a SCADA or PLC-based control system.
